Dr Kalam had commended the efforts of Dr Joseph and encouraged him to commence an Engineering institution. As a token of respect to this legendary personality, the School of Engineering of Garden City University is named Dr A P J Abdul Kalam School of Engineering.
The legacy of being in the field of education for over 3 decades and the learning from the market makes this initiative of Garden City University – a truly nation building exercise. The primary focus is on the Department of Computer Science which is in demand and the University has taken all steps in creating world class Engineers.
